The HR Manager will oversee and manage all core human resources functions, with a strong focus on full-cycle recruiting for warehouse operations, compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration. This role partners closely with leadership while managing an HR Administrator who supports payroll and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, flexible, and solutions-oriented while maintaining compliance and best practices.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for warehouse and operational roles
- Ensure HR compliance with federal and state regulations, including I-9 administration
- Update and maintain the employee handbook (last updated in 2023)
- Oversee benefits administration
, open enrollment, and HR reporting - Utilize BambooHR as the primary HRIS for employee records, onboarding, reporting, and compliance
- Support and manage an HR Administrator responsible for weekly payroll processing and administrative support
- Act as a trusted HR partner to leadership and employees across a workforce of approximately 159 employees
- Support a primarily warehouse-based employee population, including two remote employees located in Arizona and Texas
- Provide guidance on employee relations, policies, and performance matters
- Recommend and implement HR process improvements to support company growth
- 5+ years of HR experience
, preferably in distribution, manufacturing, or warehouse environments - SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in recruiting high-volume warehouse roles
- Solid understanding of HR compliance, employment laws, and best practices
- Hands-on experience with BambooHR or similar HRIS platforms
- Ability to balance structure with flexibility; practical and people-focused approach
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
