Human Resources; HR) Manager

Position: Human Resources (HR) Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to support key people operations for a contract assignment in Brea, California. This role will oversee employee relations matters, core HR administration, benefits coordination, and onboarding activities while helping maintain accurate HRIS records. The ideal candidate brings a practical, employee-focused approach and can manage day-to-day HR needs with professionalism, discretion, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

- Guide managers and employees through workplace concerns, resolving issues fairly and in alignment with company policies and employment practices.

- Oversee daily human resources administration, including personnel documentation, policy interpretation, and maintenance of employee records.

- Administer employee benefit programs by supporting enrollments, updates, questions, and coordination with external providers as needed.

- Manage onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring paperwork, orientation steps, and system access are completed in a timely manner.

- Maintain and update HRIS data to support accurate reporting, compliance tracking, and employee information management.

- Partner with leadership on HR matters such as policy application, employee communication, and consistent handling of workforce issues.

- Monitor HR processes for compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards, escalating concerns when appropriate.

- Contribute to process improvements and support operational changes, including HR-related system or workflow updates when required. Requirements - Demonstrated experience in human resources management with a strong background in employee relations and HR administration.

- Hands-on knowledge of employee benefits processes, including enrollments, changes, and employee support.

- Experience using HRIS platforms to maintain accurate records and produce reliable HR data.

- Proven ability to coordinate onboarding activities and create a smooth new employee experience.

- Solid understanding of HR policies, compliance requirements, and confidential record handling.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.

- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a contract environment. Talent Match®
