What You Will Do As a Business Development Manager:

The Business Development Manager – Data Centers is responsible for identifying, developing, and accelerating new business opportunities and long-term growth within the data center industry for Moxa Americas. This role focuses on North America and LATAM, engaging both data center end users and their broader ecosystem, including system integrators, EPCs, power and cooling specialists, OEMs, and technology partners.

You will drive the adoption of Moxa’s industrial networking, communication, and computing solutions across mission-critical data center applications such as power distribution cabinets, edge networking equipment, in-row and liquid cooling systems, and other high-availability environments.

This role combines strategic business development, deep customer engagement, and solution-oriented selling, working cross-functionally to define and execute a structured vertical market growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities Market & Business Development
  • Develop and execute a structured business development strategy for the data center vertical aligned with Moxa’s short- and long-term growth objectives
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue new opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects, translating market insights into actionable growth initiatives
  • Research, map, and continuously refine the data center ecosystem, including hyperscalers, colocation providers, system integrators, EPCs, OEMs, consultants, and technology partners

Contribute to Moxa’s multi-year business planning process with market intelligence, growth strategies, and execution plans

  • Engage directly with data center end users and integrators to understand application requirements, design challenges, and long-term infrastructure roadmaps
  • Partner with customer engineering teams to ensure Moxa solutions meet technical requirements and are specified into designs and programs

Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, operations, procurement, and executive teams

Collaborate with channel partners to identify target accounts, key stakeholders, and priority opportunities, supporting pipeline development and co-selling activities

Enable system integrators and channel partners through training, joint account planning, customer visits, and solution positioning

Support procurement and supply chain stakeholders by aligning expectations around availability, certifications, lifecycle requirements, and lead times

Work cross-functionally with operations, product management, and technical chain risks and protect design wins

Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership

Partner with industry and regional marketing teams to define and execute the data center marketing strategy, including campaigns, events, and content

Contribute to white papers, presentations, case studies, and customer success stories that articulate Moxa’s differentiated value proposition

Provide fact-based intelligence on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies

  • Represent Moxa at industry events, customer forums, and associations to strengthen brand presence and credibility
Qualifications Who You Are:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)

  • 10+ years of professional experience, including:
    • 5+ years in sales or business development
    • 3–5 years within the energy, critical power, or data center vertical
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and high-availability systems
