R&D Data Scientist Intern – Envista Holdings Corporation, Brea, CA.

We are looking for an R&D Data Scientist Intern to join our team. You will help support the rapid growth of the Spark and Digital Orthodontic business unit of Envista. The Intern will partner with fellow engineers and production teams to execute on project objectives and team goals.

• Support various data analytics projects.
• Create and maintain server scripts to extract and compile data.
• Provide data visualization and presentation for stakeholders on a regular basis.

• Currently pursuing a degree in relevant fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or Business Analytics.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python (scikit-learn, Num Py, Pandas), AWS services (Athena, Sage Maker) and Microsoft Excel.
• A portfolio of project experiences in data analytics preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
• Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex data findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

$41,600 – $62,400. Actual compensation packages are determined by geographic location; skill sets; education; certifications; experience; performance; and other business needs. The total compensation package may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) match, and/or other applicable plans.
