Overview
The Planet Group is seeking a highly skilled BIM Designer / Staff Digital Delivery BIM Specialist to support digital project delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects and clients. This role will focus on BIM coordination, digital project execution, clash detection, QA/QC, and implementation of digital delivery strategies throughout the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Perform BIM coordination and digital delivery activities across projects
- Support development of BIM standards, tools, and workflows
- Conduct clash detection and coordinate issue resolution
- Manage project setup including model files, cloud services, and access controls
- Support IPD and design-build project execution
- Collaborate with project teams on digital delivery methods and schedules
- Prepare and present digital models to clients and stakeholders
- Support VR simulations and AI-driven workflow improvements
- Maintain QA/QC standards, project schedules, and budgets
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of BIM/digital delivery experience, or
- Associate degree and 6 years of related experience, or
- 8 years of related experience in lieu of degree
- Strong experience with BIM software, model integration, and digital project delivery
- Experience supporting EPC and design-build projects preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and software platforms
