Position: Envista Sr. Manager, IT Infrastructure Technical Lead (Brea, CA)

Job Summary

This on‑site Sr. Manager, IT Infrastructure Technical Lead position requires four days per week in the Brea office. The role drives architecture, delivery, integration, and operational excellence across enterprise infrastructure platforms—including Microsoft 365, VMware, Citrix, Windows/Linux servers, Azure, AWS, monitoring platforms, and NOC operations.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure & Technical Leadership
    :
    Design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. Lead Microsoft technologies, Windows/Linux server environments, VMware vSphere/ESXi, Citrix CVAD, Citrix ADC/Net Scaler, and Azure/AWS initiatives.
  • Security, Automation & Reliability
    :
    Implement security best practices (identity protection, RBAC, conditional access, PKI). Lead automation with Power Shell and infrastructure automation tools, mature SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, observability), and maintain monitoring platforms (Solar Winds, SCOM, Datadog).
  • Enterprise Integration & Operations
    :
    Orchestrate application onboarding, migration, and integration across identity, networking, virtualization, and middleware layers. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure‑to‑application issues and lead 24x7 NOC operations, including incident response and SLA adherence.
  • Leadership & Vendor Management
    :
    Mentor and develop engineering teams, manage Envista’s Managed Service Provider relationships, and lead change management for modernization to cloud‑enabled operational models. Serve as a trusted technical advisor to leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10–15+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience across cloud, virtualization, Microsoft platforms, Citrix, and SRE operations.
  • 5+ years of experience leading infrastructure engineering teams and/or MSP‑managed environments.
  • Proven track record in enterprise infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Strong experience with enterprise operations, vendor governance, and MSP relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Technical Expertise
  • Microsoft & Identity: Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive), MECM/SCCM, Intune, Power Shell, SSO integrations.
  • Virtualization & Cloud: VMware vSphere/ESXi, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD), Citrix ADC/Net Scaler, Azure, AWS.
  • Monitoring & Operations: Solar Winds, SCOM, Datadog.
  • NOC Operations & Incident Management: Incident response, SLA governance, enterprise observability.
  • Enterprise Integration & Security: APIs, SAML, OAuth, SCIM, certificates, PKI, load balancing, networking fundamentals.
  • Security & Compliance: Disaster recovery best practices, compliance standards.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience leading first‑generation MSP operational transformations.
  • Experience implementing SRE methodologies within enterprise infrastructure organizations.
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft, AWS, VMware, Citrix, or ITIL technologies.
  • Experience working in large‑scale enterprise or highly regulated environments.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $169,900 – $207,600 per year. Compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) match, and/or other applicable plans.
