Job Summary
Sr. Manager, Salesforce Architect – on‑site Brea office, four days per week. Lead strategy, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce platforms, bridging business needs with technical solutions. Manage teams of administrators and developers, oversee complex project delivery, data architecture, stakeholder engagement, and advance governance and operation of Envista’s CRM platforms.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Salesforce CRM Strategy & RoadmapDefine and execute a comprehensive Salesforce CRM strategy and multi‑year roadmap. Establish enterprise‑wide standards, architecture guidelines, and governance policies that align the platform with business objectives.
Platform Management & OptimizationOversee day‑to‑day management of Envista’s Salesforce environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Identify and implement platform enhancements, conduct system audits and data‑quality checks, and stay current with releases.
Team LeadershipManage, mentor, and grow a team of Salesforce administrators and developers, including external partners or consultants. Provide technical guidance, prioritize workloads, and cultivate Salesforce skills.
Project Delivery & Cross‑Functional CollaborationPartner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and other departments to prioritize and deliver CRM projects. Translate business requirements into scalable solutions, manage design, configuration, and customization efforts, and use Agile methodologies to meet on‑time delivery.
Platform Governance & Best PracticesEstablish and enforce governance best practices, including user access, roles, data security, development standards, release management, and quality assurance. Deliver frameworks for reuse, documentation, and change control.
User Adoption & SupportDrive high user adoption, develop training programs and support processes, and provide tier‑3 support for complex Salesforce issues.
Integration & Data StrategyIntegrate Salesforce with adjacent systems such as ERP, MDM, e‑commerce, and marketing automation. Oversee data‑management strategies, model design, data migration, and cleansing to maintain governance standards.
Innovation & Vendor ManagementResearch and recommend new Salesforce features, App Exchange solutions, or third‑party tools. Manage relationships with Salesforce and other vendors, maintain licenses, and advocate Envista’s needs.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT/CRM roles focused on Salesforce, including platform management or architecture positions.
- Hands‑on experience in Salesforce administration, development (Flows, Apex, Lightning Components), and integrations (APIs, Mule Soft).
- Strong people‑management skills and ability to coordinate across on‑site and offshore resources.
- Project‑management experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, and tools such as Jira.
- Strategic thinker with analytical problem‑solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Preferred:
Salesforce certifications – Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant.
- Experience evaluating and implementing third‑party Salesforce apps or emerging CRM tools.
- Knowledge of data analytics or customer master data management.
Target Market Salary Range: $164,300 – $190,000. Total compensation may include annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) match, and other applicable plans.
