2nd Shift Press Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a 2nd Shift Press Machine Operator to join their team. As a 2nd Shift Press Machine Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 2nd Shift Press Machine Operator

Location: Brea, CA

Pay Range: $23 - $33/hr (DOE)

Shift: 2nd Shift (

• Perform, set up, and operate press machines to produce machined parts according to blueprints, specifications, and instructions.
• Understand and interpret drawings, manuals, and work instructions to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements.
• Monitor ongoing machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, making adjustments as needed.
• Verify conformance of finished work pieces to specifications using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
• Record production data including piece count and run time, and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with 5-10 years of industrial machine shop experience preferred.
• Experience with die press machines
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve minor machine issues.
