Quality Control Inspector – Enertech, Curtiss‑Wright

Location:

Brea, CA
Salary: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (subject to experience, qualifications, and market conditions)

• Inspect, audit, measure, and functionally test products or materials, parts, subassemblies, and packaging for damage, defects, or shortages using specification sheets, gauges, and standards.
• Perform inspection of incoming products to ensure proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering, and purchase‑order requirements.
• Conduct in‑process inspection of parts being manufactured.
• Execute pre‑shipment inspections.
• Interpret and read engineering drawings, company and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
• Perform product and process audits for in‑process conformance to drawings/specifications on large and small machined products, weldments, assemblies, and individual manufactured components.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on machine shop inspection experience.
• Knowledge of quality standards including ISO, Gage Calibration, Metrology, GD&T.
• Ability to use inspection equipment such as surface plate, height gauge, comparator, hand tools, attribute gauges, etc.
• Ability to perform detailed review of documentation/certification to requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
