Job Description
Nut Former / Cold HeaderExperience: Mid Level
Salary: $35 - $45 per hour
Job DetailsSeeking an experienced Nut Former / Cold Header to perform machine setups, produce precision fasteners, and maintain quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Available
Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM
- Saturday overtime may be required
- Set up and operate nut form production machinery.
- Read blueprints, work orders, and drawings to manufacture quality parts.
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Complete production logs and required documentation.
- Troubleshoot tooling and production issues.
- Maintain safety and quality standards throughout production.
- Experience operating National or Jern Yao nut form equipment.
- Strong knowledge of precision measurement tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment and around heavy metal materials.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heavy materials.
