Overview
The LVN Supervisor supports the Centralized In-Basket Team across four Orange County High Desert (OCHD) ministries by providing operational and clinical oversight. This role helps ensure efficient daily operations, timely message management, and quality patient care while serving as a backup to the RN and Manager. The LVN Supervisor also supports clinical triage, workflow coordination, staff guidance, and escalation of patient care concerns as needed.
The position reports to the Sr. Nurse Manager and/or Site Manager/Director and has direct responsibility for supervising staff in the clinical department, ensuring staff provide patient care within the scope of practice outlined by the California Board of Nursing.

- Provide operational and clinical oversight for the Centralized In-Basket Team across four OCHD ministries.
- Ensure efficient daily operations and timely message management to support quality patient care.
- Serve as a backup to the RN and Manager as needed.
- Support clinical triage, workflow coordination, and escalation of patient care concerns.
- Guide and supervise staff within the clinical department and ensure adherence to the California Board of Nursing scope of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program at a vocational school or college.
- California Licensed Vocational Nurse (upon hire).
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- 3 years recent experience in an acute care facility or medical group practice with 1 year in a medical practice.
- Employee supervision/management experience.
- EMR and/or IDX experience.
