We are seeking a reliable and motivated Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The Prep Cook plays an essential role in ensuring our chefs have the ingredients and support needed to deliver outstanding dishes to our guests. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and committed to maintaining high food quality and safety standards.

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and chef specifications
• Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion vegetables, fruits, meats, and other ingredients
• Prepare sauces, dressings, marinades, and other menu components
• Label, date, and properly store food items
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station
• Follow all food safety and health department guidelines
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
• Support line cooks and kitchen staff during service as needed
• Complete opening, closing, and side work duties

Estamos buscando un(a)
Cocinero(a) de Preparación (Prep Cook) confiable y motivado(a) para unirse a nuestro equipo de cocina. Esta posición es fundamental para garantizar que los cocineros y chefs cuenten con los ingredientes y el apoyo necesario para preparar nuestros platillos con los más altos estándares de calidad.

• Preparar ingredientes siguiendo recetas y especificaciones del chef.
• Lavar, pelar, cortar, picar y porcionar verduras, frutas, carnes y otros ingredientes.
• Preparar salsas, aderezos, marinados y otros component es del menú.
• Etiquetar, fechar y almacenar correctamente los alimentos.
• Mantener una estación de trabajo limpia, organizada y segura.
• Cumplir con todas las normas de seguridad alimentaria y salud pública.
• Recibir, organizar y almacenar entregas de productos e ingredientes.
• Apoyar a los cocineros de línea y al personal de cocina cuando sea necesario.
• Completar tareas de apertura, cierre y limpieza asignadas.

Requirements

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and chef specifications

• Previous kitchen or prep cook experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
• Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one)
