The Sales Associate is expected to contribute to a positive shopping experience by demonstrating product knowledge and effectively handling customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

* Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming shopping experience.

* Assist customers with product selection, offering informed advice based on product knowledge.

* Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register and point of sale (POS) system, including cash handling.

* Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including stocking merchandise and ensuring proper merchandising displays.

* Address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

* Utilize selling techniques to meet or exceed sales goals.

* Assist with loss prevention efforts by monitoring the sales floor and following established procedures.

* Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with customers and colleagues.

* Contribute to the overall store operations by assisting with various tasks as needed.

* Maintain a thorough understanding of current promotions and product offerings.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Working knowledge of cash register and POS systems.

* Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to perform basic general mathematics calculations.

* Ability to lift and move merchandise, as needed.

* Strong English language proficiency, both written and verbal.

* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

* Experience in retail sales is preferred.

* Prior experience with merchandising and stocking merchandise.
