Sales Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead growth across the Automotive Aftermarket Warehouse Distributor (WD) channel while supporting OE initiatives and expanding private-brand business.

The successful candidate will lead and develop a sales team, manage strategic distributor relationships, drive revenue and market share growth, and execute customer-focused strategies aligned with Tier-1 automotive quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales leader with deep automotive aftermarket experience who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, developing high-performing teams, and driving measurable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a sales team supporting Aftermarket WD, OE, and private-brand customers.
  • Drive revenue, profitability, and market share growth across national and regional Warehouse Distributors.
  • Manage strategic WD accounts, including pricing programs, line reviews, promotions, and assortment expansion.
  • Develop and expand private-brand business while maintaining strong margins and customer relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive aftermarket.
  • Support OE opportunities and customer initiatives aligned with long-term growth strategies.
  • Develop sales forecasts, manage pipelines, and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Lead pricing, negotiations, customer programs, and strategic account initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure effective execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and other strategic customers.
  • Provide regular sales performance updates, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Ensure sales strategies and customer programs are executed effectively and profitably.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of automotive aftermarket sales experience.
  • Strong experience working with Warehouse Distributors and automotive aftermarket customers.
  • Proven experience managing national and regional WD accounts.
  • Prior experience leading, coaching, or mentoring sales professionals.
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue, margin, and market share growth.
  • Experience managing pricing programs, negotiations, promotions, and customer programs.
  • Private-label or private-brand experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of automotive aftermarket products, distribution channels, and market dynamics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented approach to sales management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and senior leadership.
