Job Overview

We are looking for motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as HVAC Install Trainees. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on training and direct mentorship from experienced installers, giving you the foundation needed to build a successful career in the HVAC industry. As an Install Trainee, you will assist with the installation of residential and commercial HVAC systems while learning proper techniques, safety standards, and industry best practices.

  • 5‑Week Paid Training beginning April 6th.
  • HVAC Install Technicians can earn $40,000 – $60,000 in their first year.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with HVAC system installations: Support lead installers with the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including equipment setup and component assembly.
  • Learn installation procedures: Gain hands‑on experience with ductwork, refrigerant lines, electrical connections, and system start‑ups.
  • Perform basic installation tasks: Help with material handling, equipment placement, system testing, and site cleanup.
  • Tool and equipment usage: Learn to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
  • Customer interaction: Represent the company professionally while assisting on job sites and interacting with customers as needed.
  • Safety and compliance: Follow all safety protocols, building codes, and company procedures to ensure safe and compliant installations.
  • Documentation: Assist in completing installation paperwork, job checklists, and inventory tracking.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; enrollment in or completion of an HVAC training program is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong willingness to learn, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Attitude: Dependable, hard‑working, team‑oriented, and eager to grow within the HVAC installation field.

Work Environment

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust. Reasonable accommodations may be made to perform essential functions.
