HVAC Maintenance Field Supervisor

This position requires a highly technical, seasoned, and trained technician to complete many tasks for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance calls daily to improve the department’s overall quality and to prevent future warranty calls. Number of assigned technicians to be determined.
  • Verify and confirm all technicians are providing our customers with a consistent WOW precision tune‑up and professional cleaning.
  • Partner with the Service Managers weekly to review current training topics based on warranty calls completed. Participate in weekly training alongside the management team.
  • Conduct pre‑season tune‑up training prior to the club membership drop.
  • Diagnose, repair and report installation and service issues both “at‑fault” and “no‑fault.”
  • Implement action plans to train on issues seen in the field.
  • Perform warranty calls alongside maintenance technicians and when needed for the installation department.
  • Coordinate with the Dispatch Department to ensure any warranty issues on recent service calls are completed beyond the client’s satisfaction.
  • Repair heating and air conditioning systems and related equipment (e.g., unit heaters, pumps, safety controls, etc.) to provide residents with comfort.
  • Maintain tools, supplies and/or equipment (e.g., torches, cutters, drills, test equipment, sheet metal, filters, control components, gaskets, seals, etc.) to ensure the availability of items and equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Order repair parts and supplies (e.g., replacement parts, filters, compressor saver kits, associated hardware, etc.) to maintain inventory and ensure availability of required items.
  • Prepare documentation (e.g., warranty parts, service records, requisitions, work performed, etc.) to provide written support and/or convey information.
  • Included in the on‑call rotation throughout the year. One‑week shift where the manager on call accepts after‑hour phone calls from the field and our answering service.
  • Participate in technician coaching, including accountability meet‑ups with Service Managers.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of integrity and promote a positive company image.
  • Analytical, focused on quality, and results‑driven.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
  • Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business.
  • Pass mandatory pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
  • Valid driver’s license with minimal DMV infractions.
Physical Requirements
  • Work in a variety of environments, including customer homes, outdoors, and field environments at development and work sites on uneven and rough terrain.
  • Must work in outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods.
  • Standing up to 8 hours per day; walking up to 8 hours per day on uneven, difficult terrain.
  • Occasional heavy manual labor including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms).
  • May work in closed or cramped spaces on occasion.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $85,000 USD
