Field Service Technician - Coffee and Espresso machine repairs in Brea

Overview

Commercial food service equipment repair agency is seeking field service technicians to provide field services across the greater southern California region. Servicing and installation of commercial coffee and espresso machines will be the priority of this role. Experience in soda fountain, coffee, general food service equipment, HVAC / refrigeration or electrical is helpful but not required depending on your professional background.

Specific experience with the following manufacturers includes Franke, Schaerer, Thermoplan and Nespresso.

• Travel to and service field locations, primarily restaurants, convenience stores, offices, hotels and coffee shops within the greater Southern California region.
• Perform repairs and servicing of commercial coffee and espresso machines and related equipment.
• Coordinate with customers and team members to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs in the company database.
• Work with the company-provided vehicle, gas card and participate in paid training.

• Prior experience performing repairs on mechanical equipment, preferably in a similar environment.
• Thorough knowledge of hardware and machinery used by the company.
• Experience using common hand and power tools.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain and update maintenance records in the company database.

Work shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may fluctuate based on customer needs). Regular overtime and weekend participation are available.

Pay is based on experience. Full health and retirement benefits are provided within the first 90 days of employment.
