Maintenance Technician II
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for keeping our production facilities, machinery, and mechanical systems operating at peak efficiency. This role goes beyond basic troubleshooting; you will perform complex preventative maintenance, diagnose advanced mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure minimal downtime in a fast-paced environment. Core Responsibilities Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose, disassemble, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Preventative Maintenance:
Execute scheduled PM programs on production machinery, facility systems, and utility equipment to maximize operational lifespan. Electrical Work:
Troubleshoot electrical systems (up to 480V, 3-phase), motor controls, relays, and basic PLC systems. Facilities Maintenance:
Support general facility upkeep, including plumbing, basic HVAC, lighting, and structural repairs as needed. Compliance & Safety:
Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety guidelines, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) protocols, and any relevant state-specific regulatory codes. Documentation:
Accurate logging of maintenance activities, parts tracking, and work orders within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Key Requirements & "Must-Haves"
Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience (ideally within an MEP, commercial construction, or fast-paced manufacturing environment). Technical Skillset:
Strong proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Tool & Equipment Mastery:
Demonstrated expertise with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic meters. Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight or elevated spaces. Certifications (Preferred):
Valid specialized certifications (e.g., HVAC, EPA, electrical, or forklift operations) are a major plus. Shift 9:00pm - 6am (2-week training period will be on 1st shift) Pay rate: $28-$32 + $1 differential - DOE
