Mobile Diesel Mechanic

About the Role:

A Plus Mobile Fleet Service Inc is looking for a skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Brea, CA! This is a hands-on, on-the-go opportunity for a motivated technician who thrives working independently and keeping commercial fleets running at peak performance.

Perform on-site diesel engine diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance at customer locations

Troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and commercial fleet vehicles

Conduct brake inspections, repairs, and adjustments in compliance with DOT regulations

Service and repair electrical systems, cooling systems, transmissions, and drive trains

Complete accurate work orders and document parts used and services performed

Maintain and organize mobile service truck, tools, and inventory

Communicate professionally with customers regarding repair status and recommendations

Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in a mobile or fleet service environment

Strong knowledge of heavy-duty diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, etc.)

Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL a plus

Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision

Familiarity with DOT compliance and safety regulations

Own tools preferred; reliable and detail-oriented work ethic
