Consignment Operations Specialist
The Consignment Operations Specialist supports the daily management and accuracy of customer consignment inventory. This role processes replenishments, returns, audits, inventory adjustments, and account updates while maintaining accurate records in SAP and related systems. The Specialist researches discrepancies and works with internal teams and customers to resolve inventory, billing, and account issues. The position helps ensure efficient consignment operations, inventory accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Process consignment replenishments, add-ons, returns, exchanges, conversions, and account updates.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP and related systems.
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, audit variances, billing issues, and account concerns.
- Review customer requests and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Support customer and internal inventory audits, including reporting and research.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Accounting, warehouse teams, and customers to resolve issues.
- Monitor pending orders, returns, credits, and inventory adjustments to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports.
- Follow company procedures, quality requirements, and inventory control processes.
- Escalate inventory, system, billing, quality, or compliance concerns as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory management, customer service, logistics, consignment, or order management preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, formulas, and reports.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SAP, ERP systems, inventory audits, reconciliations, or compliance processes is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on open issues.
