Process Engineer

Cargill is seeking a Process Engineer to drive process excellence within our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will analyze and optimize production processes to improve yield, quality, and efficiency while maintaining the highest safety and food-quality standards. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools, perform root cause analysis, and support commissioning and scale-up of new equipment.

Collaborating closely with operations, maintenance, and quality teams, you will monitor performance metrics, reduce waste, and advance Cargill's sustainability goals. Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve yield, quality, and efficiency
• Implement process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams on root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions
• Monitor production data and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Support commissioning, scale-up, and validation of new equipment and processes
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Provide technical support and training to operations staff
• Participate in cross-functional projects focused on sustainability and waste reduction
• Interface with vendors and engineering partners on technical solutions
