Administrative Specialist
- Housing

The Town of Breckenridge Housing Department is seeking a uniquely qualified individual for the position of Administrative Specialist
- Housing. This role performs routine and specialized administrative, clerical, statistical, public relations, and financial work and research in support of the various functions and duties of the Housing Department. The Administrative Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service to peers, supervisors, colleagues, and members of the community. This role performs other administrative functions as required by management to meet the needs of the Department, the organization, and the community.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree preferred, or a combination of education, training, and relevant experience preferred.
  • One (1) or more years of customer service experience required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in the area of office management preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a professional office environment with significant contact with the public required.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
  • Computer proficiency is required.

Licenses or Certificates

Required:

  • Valid Colorado driver's license required within 30 days of hire.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to employment.
  • Colorado Notary Public Certification required within 60 days of hire.
Additional Information

Hiring Range: $27.00 - 31.00 per hour. Full Pay Range: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour.

WORK SCHEDULE:

The work schedule for this role is generally Monday
- Friday 8:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m., however, the incumbent must be flexible in availability and may be asked to work other times/schedules to meet organizational needs.
