Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated, highly responsible and customer service-oriented individual for the position of Recreation Guest Services Attendant - Summer Seasonal.

Recreation Attendants are responsible for interfacing with guests to meet or exceed guest needs with respect to facility, program or service needs. This includes providing information, implementing or carrying out pre-planned programs or activities, assisting with program planning, cash handling, enforcing policies and/or procedures, and representing the department in a quality and service-oriented manner.

The individual in this position is responsible for providing excellent guest service; greeting guests, conducting membership, pass and pro‑shop sales, light custodial duties, and providing information and explanation of services and programs offered by the Recreation department. The position performs cash handling duties, conducts transactions with a computerized Point‑of‑Sale system, and coordinates equipment needs, performs facility checks, and handles facility reservations.

Full‑Time, 40 hours per week position.

Minimum & Desired Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have received a High School diploma or GED.
  • Must have one (1) or more years of customer service experience.
  • Must have one (1) or more years of cash handling experience.
  • Two (2) or more years of customer service, cash handling and/or experience in the Recreation or Hospitality industry preferred.
Licenses or Certificates
  • Basic CPR, AED, and First Aid Certifications required within 60 days of hire.
  • Preventing Disease Transmission (PDT) required within 60 days of hire.

Hiring Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.25 per hour.

Work Schedule

Primary shifts for this position vary, but generally they are between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. with a typical schedule of 40 hours per week. Individuals must be flexible in terms of availability and may on occasion be required to work other shifts as needed, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
