Administrative Specialist
- Recreation

The Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional to serve as the Administrative Specialist
- Recreation. This position provides administrative and operational support for the Recreation Department by coordinating business and technical systems, financial reporting and reconciliation, records and information management, office equipment and supply administration, guest relations, event support, and a variety of departmental administrative functions. The Recreation Administrative Specialist works collaboratively with Recreation staff, other Town departments, and community members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

MINIMUM & DESIRED

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Post High School higher education desired.
  • One (1) or more years of direct work experience in administrative and/or recreation services encompassing operations, systems, and processes required.
  • Computer proficiency required.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

REQUIRED:

  • Valid Colorado Driver's license required within 30 days of employment.
  • Community CPR, first aid, and AED training required within 60 days of hire.
  • Preventing disease transmission (PDT) required within 60 days of hire.
Additional Information

Hiring Pay Range: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour, $56,160.00 - $64,480.00 if annualized. Full Pay Range: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour, $56,160.00 - $72,800.00 if annualized. WORK SCHEDULE Generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm or other times/schedules to meet organizational needs. Individuals in this position must be flexible in terms of availability; and may on occasion be required to work other shifts as needed, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
