• Valid Minnesota Elementary (K–6) Teaching License or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Skills in differentiated instruction, classroom management, and creating inclusive learning environments
• Preferred experience with:
  • Science of Reading and Structured Literacy practices
  • Standards-based instruction and reporting
  • Project-Based Learning
  • Active Classroom strategies that increase student engagement
  • Use of formative and summative assessments to guide instruction
• Commitment to data-driven decision making within an MTSS/RtI framework
• Strong technology skills, organizational skills, and willingness to integrate digital tools to support learning
• Ability to collaborate and contribute as a member of a professional learning community (PLC)
• Belief that all students can achieve at high levels and meet rigorous expectations
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and team members
• Passionate, flexible, dependable, and enthusiastic about teaching and learning

This position reports directly to the Elementary School Principal.

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the current Master Agreement, available on the district website under Employment Opportunities → Master Agreements.
