Early Childhood Toddler Teacher

Come join our amazing team at the Carriage House Early Learning Center in Breckenridge, CO! We are hiring a 2 day per week part time Toddler Teacher. Carriage House is a play-based early childhood school utilizing the Creative Curriculum, as well as the Pyramid Plus approach to support social and emotional growth. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with young children, love the Colorado mountain lifestyle and are flexible and adaptable to new situations.

We care for children ages 8 weeks to 5 years with incredible ratios, a strong team, great pay, and a full benefits package at 30 hours/week.

• Support implementation of daily lesson plans and care
• Actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement

• Great attitude, flexibility, and willing to learn
• Ability to work well with others and adjust to children's individual needs
• Enroll in 2 (fully paid by Carriage House) Early Childhood classes, if needed, within the first year of employment
• Must clear full background check
• Live in Summit County or surrounding areas

• Colorado Early Childhood qualified teacher or holds a Colorado Shines Level 2 credential
• Experience with young children in a group classroom setting
• Early childhood course work
