Overview
Summit County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a qualified Patrol Cadet. The applicant selected for the position attends a Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Law Enforcement Academy to obtain POST Certification. The Patrol Cadet’s primary job location is at a POST Academy located in either the Denver Metropolitan Area or a Colorado Mountain College Law Enforcement Training Academy. Upon POST Certification, the Patrol Cadet promotes to Patrol Deputy.
Cadet Level: $68,120
Academy Graduate: $72,800

- Integrity Interview
- Psychological Testing
- Polygraph Examination
- Executive Interview
- Successful completion of Law Enforcement Academy
Testing for these positions will be TBA. Qualified candidates who are selected to move forward into each phase will be informed by phone or email.
