The Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated and customer service oriented individual for the position of Recreation Facility Operator
. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the Recreation Center and Tennis Center. The Recreation Facility Operator conducts ongoing inspections and safety checks, tracks equipment replacement plans, prepares and maintains repair and maintenance schedules, and participates in facility improvement planning processes. The Recreation Facility Operator also collaborates with the Facilities division to conduct routine maintenance.

The Recreation Facility Operator monitors the cleaning contractor and helps contribute to a quality presentation of the Recreation and Tennis facilities. This individual is responsible for applying departmental policies in a consistent and appropriate manner in the performance of assigned tasks. The incumbent seeks and follows direction from various supervisors and departments to problem‑solve and promote a team‑based environment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) or more years of customer service experience required.
  • One (1) or more years of computer experience and MS office experience required.
  • One (1) or more years of maintenance experience required.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

REQUIRED:
  • Community CPR, first aid and AED training required within 60 days of hire.
  • Preventing Disease Transmission (PDT) required within 60 days of hire.
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s license required within 30 days of hire.

Hiring Range: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour, $56,160.00 - $64,480.00 if annualized
Full Pay Range: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour, $56,160.00 - $72,800.00 if annualized

WORK SCHEDULE

The work schedule for this position varies widely, dependent upon operational and staffing needs. The individual in this position must be flexible in terms of availability and may be required to work shifts as needed to meet business needs, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
