Job Summary

The Retail Lead is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service per company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets. The Lead acts as store department lead and ensures the department has appropriate inventory levels.

  • Starting Wage: $23.00/hr - $26.88/hr
  • Minimum Age: 18 years or older

Job Responsibilities
  • Generate sales and demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service
  • Responsible for opening and closing the store
  • Evaluate sales trends and create methods for sales growth
  • Manage retail and rental inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals
  • Enforce company cash handling policies and procedures, and other loss prevention policies
  • Manage the sales floor team and rental process
  • Act as a mentor who can train and lead a sales team with effective communication
  • Provide great customer service to all guests
  • Ensure pricing is accurate and current including all promotions
  • Stock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Previous retail sales experience – required
  • Previous snow sport industry experience – preferred
  • Ability to communicate fluently with co‑workers and guests in spoken and written English – required
  • Ability to maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends – required
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
