Journeyman Plumber
The Journeyman Plumber is a key technical role responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, drain cleaning, and dewatering projects. Operating under the direction of the Field Superintendent, this individual ensures all work meets Snowbridge standards for quality and safety. As a Journeyman, you are expected to work with a high degree of independence while mentoring junior field staff.
Technical Execution:
Perform full-cycle plumbing tasks including system change-outs, preventative maintenance, complex repairs, and high-standard drain cleaning.
Safety Leadership:
Model strict compliance with all safety regulations, ensuring a secure environment for the team and the public.
Project Management:
Manage daily field assignments via Service Titan; ensure "zero-return" quality by getting the job done right the first time.
Mentorship:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced field staff and apprentices.
Resource Management:
Responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of company vehicles, tools, and shop bays. Coordinate vehicle maintenance with the Fleet Manager.
Administrative Accuracy:
Maintain real-time records of all job functions, parts used, and labor hours in Service Titan and Paycor.
Customer Relations:
Act as a professional representative of Snowbridge; follow up with customers to ensure total satisfaction.
Environment:
Must be comfortable working in outdoor conditions, including inclement weather, uneven terrain, and high altitudes. Exposure to chemical residues and moving mechanical parts is common.
Physicality:
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Must be able to crouch, bend, crawl, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
Senses:
Full command of all five senses is required for diagnostic accuracy and safety.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of professional drain cleaning or plumbing experience.
Valid Colorado Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (including federal standards for safety-sensitive roles).
5+ years of drain cleaning/plumbing experience.
CDL Class A or
B.
Demonstrated experience with Service Titan or similar field management software.
Starting pay for this position between $25 and $30 an hour. Starting pay may be above or below based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
Snowbridge takes into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience relevant to the position for which they are applying, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, a potential new employee's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
