Job DescriptionTITLE Head Strength & Conditioning Coach
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR Director/Assistant Director of Athletics

GENERAL FUNCTION
The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for the development and implementation of individual and group strength training programs for high school athletes. A commitment to the safety of student-athletes is MANDATORY. The position requires commitment to approximately 10-12 hours per week, Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays.
The position requires frequent afternoon and early morning work during the school year. Additional opportunities for coaching are possible during the summer and there may be opportunities to coach an SHS sport AND serve as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach concurrently.
Qualifications- Experience with strength training protocols at the high school/collegiate level is required. Playing experience in any sport at the high school/collegiate level is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, supervisory and management skills are required.
- Current CPR/First Aid certifications required. NSCA or similar certification preferred.
- NOTE:
This is a part time stipend position based on experience.
