Location: Brecksville, OH to start, and transitioning to Wickliffe, OH in 2028.

How You’ll Make An Impact The Global Product Management Leader heads the global product management and product stewardship team. The person ensures the business takes a consistent and logical approach managing product portfolio, product complexity, pricing methodology, asset strategy, product safety and regulation across business segments and regions, through close collaboration and alignment with all key functions including sales, strategic marketing, supply chain, operation, and procurement.

The person is also charged to effectively use the product integrity manager role to drive quality (QC/QA) improvement and drive financial impact.

Responsibilities
  • Develop global product line strategies that are aligned with business strategy, strategic marketing and technology development roadmaps.
  • Manage product portfolio and product life cycle to maximize financial performance and competitive effectiveness of the portfolio.
  • Use margin velocity as a tool to actively manage complexity and lift margin at seven EP&MS plants globally.
  • Train, coach and apply economic analysis mindset in business analytics and decision-making. Play one of the gatekeeper roles for PPMP and new product addition.
  • Champion product line through proactive communication and drive continuous improvement mindset.
  • Execute and implement changes to ensure products are compliant with regional and global product safety regulation.
  • Assist customers and suppliers with product safety and regulation needs.
  • Product pricing strategy for new product launches and current business.
  • Establish pricing guidelines based on cost, value proposition and competitive positioning.
  • Develop analytical framework for pricing analysis to identify pricing leakage and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operation and SC team on asset strategy.
  • Work with all functions to identify continuous improvement and productivity opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operation and SC to develop asset plan that can support business growth in the most efficient way.
  • Product quality improvement.
  • Develop baseline understanding of quality issues.
  • Develop and execute plan to improve quality performance.
Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; finance or engineering degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in operations, product management, strategic marketing or business management.
  • Strong business and financial acumen and analytical capability, and can coach and train team to use economic analysis to drive data-based decision making.
  • Ability to use problem solving framework to conduct RCA and develop corrective actions and coach the team to do the same.
  • Strong communicator, ability to lead through influence and stakeholder management.
  • Effective leadership in complex organizations, results and execution driven, strong analytical and business acumen and timely and common-sense driven decision making.
  • Proficiency with analysis using tools such as SAP, Power BI, Vendavo, Excel preferred.
