Global Product Management Leader
Location: Brecksville, OH, US (starting position), transitioning to Wickliffe, OH in 2028.
The Global Product Management Leader heads the global product management and product stewardship team, ensuring a consistent approach to managing product portfolio, complexity, pricing, asset strategy, safety, and regulation across business segments and regions. The role is executed through close collaboration with sales, strategic marketing, supply chain, operations, and procurement to deliver business impact and quality improvement.
Responsibilities- Develop global product line strategies that align with business strategy, strategic marketing, and technology development roadmaps.
- Manage product portfolio and product life cycle to maximize financial performance and competitive effectiveness.
- Use margin velocity as a tool to manage complexity and lift margin at seven EP&MS plants worldwide.
- Train, coach, and apply an economic analysis mindset in business analytics and decision‑making; act as a gatekeeper for PPMP and new product additions.
- Champion product lines through proactive communication and continuous improvement mindset.
- Execute and implement changes to ensure products comply with regional and global product safety regulations.
- Assist customers and suppliers with product safety and regulation needs.
- Develop product pricing strategy for new launches and current business.
- Establish pricing guidelines based on cost, value proposition, and competitive positioning.
- Create an analytical framework for pricing analysis to identify leakage and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operations and supply‑chain teams on asset strategy.
- Identify continuous improvement and productivity opportunities across functions.
- Develop asset plans that support business growth efficiently.
- Improve product quality; develop baseline understanding of quality issues and execute improvement plans.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; finance or engineering degree preferred.
- 10–15 years of experience in operations, product management, strategic marketing, or business management.
- Strong business and financial acumen with analytical capability and the ability to coach teams on economic analysis for data‑driven decisions.
- Proficiency in problem‑solving frameworks to conduct root‑cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead through influence and stakeholder management.
- Effective leadership in complex organizations, results‑driven, with timely and common‑sense decision making.
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as SAP, Power BI, Vendavo, and Excel.
