*** on new and modified designs. You will direct support personnel in the preparation of

*** producing technical documentation of analysis
*** and results to establish sustainable records.

* Ability to modify existing and create new products to meet needs of customers applications and industry standards.  Assures design performance by developing test protocols and overseeing lab testing.
* Designs and conducts experiments, collects data and interprets results, conducts analysis and writes analysis and test reports.  Capability to draw conclusions and reconcile differences between predicted and actual results.

* Assures documentation and analysis required to establish intellectual property rights.  Files innovation disclosures and patent applications.
* Develops expertise in assign product lines and assures all marketing materials are technically accurate in representing product capabilities and expected performance.

What You Bring:

* Bachelor’s Degree Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Master's degree preferred
* 7-10 years of relevant experience
* Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Analysis (i.e. Minitab), Disciplined Problem Solvine (DPS), 3-D CAD systems.
* Computational modeling CFD/FEA, Voice of Customer (VOC)
* Ability to create and iterate designs, validate performance, and perform design reviews.
* Capable of coordinating multiple project responsibilities.
* Must be a team player, have effective communication skills, and the ability manage projects.
* Experience designing and testing pressure relief valves developed for high pressure steam applications.
* Working knowledge of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes (Section I and VII) and National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspections (NBIC).
