Engineering Co-op: MuReva

Overview

MuReva Phototherapy was established in 2018 and is committed to changing the approach to cancer treatment by addressing key dose‑limiting side‑effects that currently have only palliative solutions such as opioids. The company aims to improve patient outcomes, increase quality of life, and reduce healthcare costs. MuReva spun off from its parent, Lumitex, a leader in fiber‑optic lighting, and receives support from NIH grant funding and private investment to develop a new light‑transmission modality that overcomes adoption barriers.

Internship

We are looking for passionate, flexible, action‑oriented, and collaborative engineering students for an exciting and diversified co‑op experience. Under the direction of an experienced Engineer, co‑ops will gain exposure to design, manufacturing, testing, and prototyping. They will manage projects, develop technical and professional skills, and contribute to critical projects.

• Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior engineering student pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Available for either the Spring 2026, Summer 2026, or Fall 2026 semester and interested in returning on a rotational basis.
• Wants to work in a hands‑on environment up to 40 hours per week at our Brecksville, OH location.
