As a Business Analytics Consultant within PNC's IRM organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Brecksville, OH, Charlotte, NC, or Houston, TX.
Responsibilities- Leverage complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data‑driven solutions.
- Consult clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product/solution development.
- Determine the optimal analytic approach and support development, implementation and enhancements.
- Conceptualize, develop and continuously optimize analytical solutions for operations and executive management to enable data‑driven decision making.
- Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
- Demonstrate leadership and self‑starter qualities in an ever‑changing fast‑paced environment, focusing on customer needs, effective communication and problem solving through process improvement, re‑engineering and project management.
- Maintain a strong foundation in SQL, Tableau, ETL in PNC's source systems or repositories, and an understanding of banking and credit to develop creative solutions/reports. Hadoop and Python experience is a plus but not essential.
- Analytical Thinking, Business Intelligence (BI), Concept Development, Data‑Driven Decision Making, Data Integration, Market Research, Performance Metrics, Qualitative Research, Strategic Planning.
- Business Acumen, Consulting, Decision Making and Critical Thinking, Effective Communications.
- University/college degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience or comparable combination of education, certifications and experience (including military service).
- Bachelor’s degree.
