How You’ll Make An Impact

As Senior Manager, Global Supply Planning, you will play a key role in shaping a forward‑looking supply strategy that aligns global capacity, assets, and logistics with business growth. You will lead and develop a team of supply planners while using data‑driven insights and scenario modeling to guide decisions and balance service, cost, and risk. Partnering closely with cross‑functional leaders, you will turn complex initiatives into clear, actionable plans, helping the organization stay agile, resilient, and positioned for long‑term success.

This Role, You Will
  • Develop and lead a forward‑looking global supply planning strategy that aligns asset capabilities, technologies, and business priorities over 2–5 years.
  • Oversee supply planning processes across a 3–24 month horizon, ensuring alignment between demand, capacity, and operational execution.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of supply planners, strengthening capabilities in scenario modeling, what‑if analysis, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Partner with business unit leaders and global stakeholders as the primary point of contact for supply planning, providing insights and recommendations to guide strategic decisions.
  • Translate strategic initiatives such as capacity expansions, network redesigns, and outsourcing into actionable supply chain plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Design and model scenarios to evaluate trade‑offs across service levels, cost structures, capital investments, and risk exposure.
  • Define long‑term capacity and asset requirements to support growth targets and evolving customer needs.
  • Assess and plan for third‑party logistics (3PL) capabilities required to support future demand and network strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Center of Excellence (COE) to standardize processes, lead training programs, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in supply planning or a related supply chain discipline, preferably within the chemicals or manufacturing industry.
  • 8+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to build, develop, and lead high‑performing teams.
  • Strong expertise in capacity planning, long‑range supply planning, and integrated business planning processes.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, including experience with scenario planning and supply constraint analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly to senior leadership.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working across demand planning, operations, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams.
Preferred Qualifications That Drive You Forward
  • Master’s degree (MBA or MSc) in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations with complex supply networks.
  • Familiarity with advanced planning systems and digital supply chain tools.
  • Experience leading supply chain transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Standing, walking, or operating equipment for extended periods.
  • Working in a lab or manufacturing setting with appropriate PPE provided.
