Shaw Healthcare is seeking a Bank Cook to join the team at Trenewydd
. The role involves cooking and serving high‑quality fresh, home‑cooked meals for residents, ensuring dietary preferences and special events are met, and maintaining kitchen standards.

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals for residents and others as required, in a timely manner.
• Provide a varied diet, catering for the cultural preferences of service users.
• Cater for celebrations and other events in the Home.
• Order supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines, using approved suppliers in the absence of the senior cook.
• Maintain accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP.
• Participate in inspections by Environmental Health and/or care regulators and Local Authorities.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene in the kitchen by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and Welfare.
• Ability to manage the Catering Team.
