Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable independent used car dealership based in Brecon, Powys, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department. • Up to £16 per hour, dependent on experience
• Overtime paid at time and a half, subject to availability
• 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Perform used car pre‑deliveries and PDI inspections in accordance with company procedures
• Accurately diagnose and document vehicle faults
• Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance as a Vehicle Technician
• Complete all paperwork thoroughly and accurately
• Support the Workshop Controller and work as part of a small, professional team

• IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is highly advantageous
• Individuals with extensive practical experience and no formal qualifications will also be considered
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Strong team player with a motivated attitude and high‑quality work standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment and meet targets
• Individuals with a valid Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence are highly desirable but not essential
