Sr Associate Supply Chain - Sales Operations
At Amgen Breda, medicines are labeled, assembled, stored, and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. Every day, more than 1,000 people from 38 different nationalities work on supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of our medicines, and clinical research into new medicines.
What you will do- Ensure the distribution of pharmaceutical products globally; all orders are processed according to Amgen procedures and customer requirements.
- Identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions.
- Escalate to Management when issues cannot be resolved by the team.
- Initiate and execute improvements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of order management performance.
- Contribute as a project team member for overall order management-related projects.
- Review monthly KPI reporting and advise on issues to be discussed during GSHE monthly metric meetings.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
- Typically 3 or more years of Supply Chain experience in a GMP and/or GDP-regulated industry.
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written communication.
- Knowledge and experience in Customer Service and/or order to cash department.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask and work within a diverse, international group of people.
- Excellence in working with MS Office and experience with ERP systems.
- Experience working across various cultures.
- Customer-focused.
- Ability to deal with conflicting interests.
- Availability outside office hours on an ad hoc basis.
- Proactive behavior.
- Ability to set priorities.
- Strong leadership skills.
