Operations Business Controller

An international food manufacturing organization with multiple production sites across Europe. The company focuses on operational excellence, continuous improvement and scalable growth within a fast-paced production environment.

As a Business Controller you act as the financial sparring partner for plant management, closely connected to daily operations. You translate financial data into actionable insights and actively steer performance, cost control and efficiency. The role combines hands on factory involvement with participation in international improvement and transformation projects.

• Act as financial business partner for the plant management team
• Analyze and improve operational KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, yield and costs
• Monitor and optimize standard cost prices and margins
• Perform variance analyses including volume, mix, price and efficiency
• Support and challenge Cap Ex investments and business cases
• Contribute to ERP implementations and IT transformation projects
• Drive process improvement and operational standardization
• Participate in group wide improvement initiatives

• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Business Economics or similar
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or operations
• Strong analytical skills with a hands‑on mindset
• Excellent communication skills across different stakeholder levels
• Comfortable working in an international environment
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• Willing to travel to Denmark approximately once per month

• Temporary contract for 1 year with possibility of extension
• Working hours between 32 and 40 hours per week
