RoleSummary
As Key Account Manager for Kitchen Aid, you will be accountable for your assigned customer portfolio with the core objective of ensuring the achievement of sales targets and the profit plan. You will act as the primary point of contact and liaison between customers and the internal Kitchen Aid organization, collaborating closely with the central team and Brussels headquarters to strengthen our premium brand position in the Dutch market.
Responsibilities- End‑to‑end accountability for assigned customers, from strategic planning and execution to performance follow‑up, ensuring sales targets are met.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key customers, driving mutual business growth and aligning joint sales targets with the company's commercial and strategic agenda.
- Serve as the central internal coordinator, facilitating seamless communication and proactive problem‑solving between customers and critical departments such as logistics, finance, and marketing.
- Optimize assortment planning and promotional campaigns in line with the Kitchen Aid Go‑To‑Market (GTM) strategy.
- Plan and execute product launches in accordance with the marketing plan and channel strategy to achieve agreed objectives.
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing to secure best‑in‑class marketing activation that supports our premium brand presence at the customer level.
- Ensure strict compliance with antitrust law.
- Client Relationship Management:
Build strong, trusting, long‑term bonds with key clients. - Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute account plans to meet client goals and company objectives. - Needs Anticipation:
Understand client business needs, challenges, and market trends to provide tailored solutions. - Internal Coordination:
Work with internal teams to deliver on client promises. - Problem Resolution:
Address client concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels. - Performance Tracking:
Analyze client data and review performance to enhance the relationship.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Deep understanding of the client's industry and business objectives.
- Experience in sales or account management.
- Proficiency in office/Google Suite applications.
- Fluency in Dutch and a good level of English.
- Experience working in similar industries (Small Domestic Appliances).
- Strong business acumen and commercial mindset.
- Demonstrated effective negotiation and communication skills.
- Proactive and exceptional problem‑solving capabilities.
