As Sales Manager in the Benelux Sales Company, you will drive growth and business success across the Ocean division. You will lead and develop a team of account managers and inside sales engineers (8), ensuring customers choose our products and services while securing profitability for Alfa Laval. The role requires travel within the Benelux to meet with the team and customers.
The position is based in Breda, the Netherlands.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve division sales and profitability targets.
- Drive process improvements and ensure effective use of tools, systems, and resources to deliver excellence in the marine sales process.
- Conduct market and customer analysis to define business potential and opportunities.
- Create sales and business plans, including forecasting for the marine service business.
- Act as the primary contact for the Central Business Unit service sales organization.
- Proactively drive sales of products (based on installed base) parts, upgrades, replacements, and services, including participation in key customer meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry bodies.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and leading teams successfully in a B2B environment.
- Fluently in both Dutch and English, with strong written and verbal skills.
- High digital competence, including Microsoft Office and modern collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of the marine industry, including equipment, is an advantage.
- An attractive salary in line with your experience.
- A fixed 13th-month salary and a variable bonus of up to 20%.
