About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Water Treatment Account Manager to join our team in the Netherlands on a full-time contract basis. This role focuses on managing and growing customer accounts within industrial and commercial water treatment sectors. The position offers strong potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts across the Netherlands

Identify new business opportunities within water treatment applications (cooling, boiler, wastewater, and process water systems)

Deliver technical and commercial solutions tailored to client needs

Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact

Conduct regular site visits, system audits, and performance reviews

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective implementation of treatment programs

Monitor account performance, pricing, and contract compliance

Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales opportunities

Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and sustainability practices

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field

Proven experience in water treatment, chemical sales, or account management

Strong technical understanding of water treatment processes and equipment

Commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets

Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills

Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively

Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with industrial clients (e.g., manufacturing, food & beverage, energy)

Knowledge of local Dutch water regulations and compliance standards
