Commercial Tire Technician

Best-One Tire & Service is hiring a Commercial Tire Technician - Road Service to install, repair, and maintain commercial tires in-shop and on the road. In this field-focused role, you'll perform tire mounting, balancing, repairs, and inspections for fleet and commercial customers while following strict safety and DOT guidelines. You'll respond to roadside service calls, diagnose issues, and complete work efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, rotate, and balance commercial tires for trucks and fleets in-shop and on the road.
• Respond to roadside service calls, safely diagnosing and correcting tire-related issues.
• Operate tire changers, balancers, jacks, and air/impact tools in accordance with safety standards.
• Inspect tires, wheels, and related components, documenting findings and recommended services.
• Follow all company, OSHA, and DOT safety procedures, including proper lifting and lockout/tagout.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean, safe working condition.
• Accurately complete work orders, service tickets, and basic customer documentation.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, service managers, and customers on job status and needs.
• Support teammates in the shop during non-road calls and assist with inventory of tires and supplies.
• Participate in ongoing training to build technical expertise and advance within the organization.
