Commercial Tire Technician

Pay:
Starting at $22/hr founded in 1948, we grew from a single‑bay service station to over 320 locations across more than 35 states, providing high‑quality tire services and equipment.

• Remove, install, rotate, balance, and repair commercial and large equipment tires in the shop or at customer locations.
• Separate and reassemble tires on wheels using specialized equipment.
• Inspect casings for defects and locate and seal punctures with patches or plugs.
• Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding, or sandblasting.
• Prepare and load retreads (discuss tread with customer, create work order, load on truck).
• Unload retreads from trucks and stack them in the warehouse.
• Perform fleet inspections to assess tire needs and make recommendations to fleet managers.
• Raise and lower vehicles safely with hydraulic or floor jacks.
• Operate shop machinery, including safety cage, spreader, balancer, floor jacks or lifts, air‑powered tools, torque wrenches, and diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain diagnostic equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with other employees and customers.
• Experience working with commercial vehicles and the handling of commercial tires is preferred.
