- Overall responsibility for successful planning, execution and control of all AIT related matters within a full project cycle
- Support and advice System Engineering with verification of design regarding AIT aspects in early phase
- Planning and responsibility for execution of all project AIT tasks in a project
- Establish and maintain AIT documents based on AIT Handbook and CWA Flow
- Ensure timely availability of AIT documentation, Ground Support Equipment, check-out Software, personnel, facilities and results processing capability
- Technical management of ground support equipment sub-contractors, if applicable
- Build up an AIT team for a specific project in cooperation with head of AIT department
- Regularly coordinate and technically lead an AIT (lead) team including organization and leading of regular AIT meetings
- Manage working and AIT schedules
- Organize, lead and contribute to the AIT part of reviews preparation (IRR, TRR, NRB); ensure representation of AIT interests in these reviews and drive decision making
- Organize "Lessons learned" sessions and ensure implementation
- Provide AIT status to progress meetings based on project specific rules and requests
- Completed engineering degree in a technical discipline, preferably with additional economics background, or equivalent qualification
- Long-time experience in space projects
- Good communicative skills, high problem solving orientation, structured work method, assertiveness, flexibility, resilience
- Technical leadership for several employees
- High cost and time awareness, assurance of continuous progress, provide alternative solutions
- Increased willingness for travelling and shift work
