- Overall AIT technical responsibility and go‑to person for a project across disciplines and thus close collaboration and support of respective AIT manager
- Technical coordination of an assigned AIT project team
- Ensure implementation and compliance of OHB’s AIT processes
- Define AIT flow, ground support equipment and facility concept in the early phase
- Standardise and update AIT documentation, e.g. AIT Plan, Facility Plan, Ground Support Equipment Deployment Plan / Specs, AIT Risk Register, Procedures, etc.
- Ensure ground support equipment suitability and integration and test definition across disciplines
- Control the technical coherency and consistency of documents, Ground Support Equipment and integration and test setups and approaches
- Define and maintain interfaces to engineering, verification and PA
- Support the preparation of and participation at test reviews (IRR/TRR, PTR) in coordination with AIT Manager
- Organise results data review and drive respective approvals
- Organise and maintain AIT data storage for respective project
- Define and manage AIT tools usage for assigned project
- Support AIT manager with his/her planning activities
- Training, guidance and mentoring of employees
- Temporarily or permanently other reasonable and equivalent activities according to existing knowledge and skills
- Typical relevant education:
Completed engineering studies in a relevant area or equivalent qualification - Professional and methodical competence:
Long‑time experience in space, technical competence in several relevant areas, security in handling of space processes, structured working method - Social skills:
Good communication skills, high problem solving orientation, high flexibility, resilience - Leadership competence:
Technical leadership of several employees - Strategic action:
Planning with foresight, high cost and schedule awareness, timely detection and avoidance of technical risks - Increased willingness for travelling and shift work:
On‑call duty, willingness to work on weekends, increased willingness to work on campaigns, willingness for shift work
