This full-time, on-site Shop Steel Fabricator role is based in Bremen, GA. The Shop Steel Fabricator will cut, shape, and assemble structural and miscellaneous steel components according to drawings and specifications.

• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication prints.
• Measure, lay out, cut, fit, and assemble structural steel components according to specifications.
• Perform welding as required to produce quality fabricated products.
• Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, drill presses, ironworkers, grinders, and other shop machinery.
• Inspect fabricated components to verify dimensions, fit, and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work efficiently to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading of finished products as needed.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on time.

• Experience in structural steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, scissor lifts, boom lifts, or other heavy equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Ability to perform metalworking tasks, including cutting, shaping, and fitting steel components.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and grinding equipment for fabrication and finishing work.
• Experience operating power tools commonly used in steel fabrication.
• Skill in safe forklift operation and material handling within a shop environment.
• Basic ability to read measurements, use measuring tools, and follow fabrication instructions or drawings.
• Commitment to safety practices, including use of personal protective equipment and adherence to shop safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work as part of a fabrication team.
• Previous experience in steel fabrication, welding, or industrial shop work is preferred.
