Position: MANAGEMENT ANALYST with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will analyze, evaluate, and advise management of the effectiveness of operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
* You will conduct studies of employee and organizational efficiency and productivity and recommend changes or improvements in organization, staffing, work methods, and procedures.

* You will plan, develop, initiate, and conduct internal review studies, management surveys, and research projects and provide advisory services on issues of significant scope and impact to the organization.
* You will prepare and provide the Engineering Processes Division (EPD) workload and personnel forecast for the Shipyard Business Office.
* You will perform duties of a Funds Administrator for funding received in support of inter-shipyard loans.
* You will work with workload forecasting models, including Workload and Resource Report (WARR) and Strategic Planning and Forecasting (SPF) data, methods, and procedures.
* You will request, receive, and review support data obtained from each Engineering Processes Division (EPD) and prepare a summary for senior department management final review. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
* Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
* This is a bargaining unit position.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
* You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing, evaluating, advising, and developing plans to improve the effectiveness of program operations, organizations, methods, policies, or management information to identify issues and develop recommendations in support of the organization's mission and functions.

This position requires rotating shift work. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements.
